Phillips Landing

Phillips Landing Recreation Area, Sussex County, Delaware

30 minutes after sunrise, mid 80s, 96% humidity, gentle breeze; Tropical Storm Hanna due to arrive in 3 hours

I saw a man walking on the side of the road on the way in. He caught up in the parking lot, stretched, and went back down the road, where I passed him again on the way out. There was a man with a dog playing fetch in the water when I arrived, but he didn’t stay long, and he appeared to have left his flip flops behind. Maybe someone else left a pair of men’s flip flops behind the same morning. I suppose I will never know.
