Wild Wood Studio, Chestertown Tea Party, Chestertown, Maryland

I was a little disappointed at how the photos came out, since they don’t really capture the depth of color in the wood very well, but I think that was more the lighting than anything. He had tons of beautiful stuff, mostly faces carved out of old tree parts. The full set from his booth is on Flickr here. For more photoblog entries from the Chestertown Tea Party, click here. Chestertown Tea Party, Chestertown, Maryland

Part of the Tea Party is a juried craft show. One of the first booths we stopped at was Martin G Ramos Jewelry. It’s also the only place I bought anything other than food and drink, if that gives you an idea of how beautiful and reasonably priced his wares were.

For Woodness Sake

Blackbird Creek Fall Festival, Townsend, Delaware

Went and checked out Rick Schuman (also known as For Woodness Sake) at the Blackbird Creek Fall Festival, and despite the rainy weather, managed to get a couple of good shots under the tent. The hobo flowers are always my favorites.
