Bowers Beach, Delaware
North Bowers sunrise – 25 degrees outside. The sky was basically one big cloud, but there was a thin spot across the horizon where the sun was glowing through. I parked over by the headboat docks since the public access beach parking lot still had 2-3 ft of snow on it. The plowed areas were mostly solid sheets of ice where the snow had melted and refrozen. It was a very ginger tiptoe across that with my precious camera!

This story was part of my volunteer work with the Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve – a great bunch of folks to volunteer with.
