Clayton, Delaware
As you may have noticed, even when I crop a photo, I still keep the original image constraints. Here’s an exception – I was driving along the road from Blackiston to Clayton and came upon this field, but by the time I could pull over, the level of the field had dropped to the point where I no longer had an open vista across the open field, but instead had a wall of shadowed berm and a little highlight of sun and mist across the top. It ended up being the only shot I took all day, so I cropped it into a panoramic proportion to make it salvageable. :)
Smyrna, Delaware
This was a tractor I saw out on one of the back roads on the way out of Bombay Hook. The thing I like about some of the less-traveled rural roads in Kent and Sussex County is that I can stop in the middle of the road, take a few shots, scoot up a few yards and take a few more, and still have plenty of time before anyone comes along behind me (or in front of me, for that matter).
