According to the sign, this WII bunker was originally 900 ft from the shoreline and completely underground. I was so tempted to climb on it. ;)

I’ve lived in Delaware pretty much my whole life long, but I don’t think I’ve ever gotten around to visiting the John Dickinson Plantation until now. I’ve officially moved it a little further up on my priority list after today’s brief tour of the grounds – it’s beautiful!
