Saturday evening concert, with violin soloist Stanichka Dimitrova and vocal soloists Ariadne Greif and Ricardo Rivera. I cropped some of these down for better compositions, since I was sitting behind the rope and could only zoom to 55mm.
Chelsea Symphony, New York, New York
Attended another rehearsal and concert of the Chelsea Symphony this weekend, but didn’t take as many photos as usual this time due to some changes in the lighting. The problem is, the lighting is set up *for* the musicians, not *on* the musicians. Granted, it makes more sense that way, but it’s a problem for me!
Anyway, here are the rehearsal shots that weren’t completely blurred. I spent more time listening to the conductors, some of whom are pretty hilarious in rehearsal, than taking photos. ;)
