4 degree wind chill just before sunrise. No hat or gloves, and frozen ankles, but I warmed right up when I saw a bald eagle lingering around. See next entry for more of him!

Bennetts Pier
Bennetts Pier, Kent County, Delaware
It’s getting to be that time of year again, when on at least some mornings I can race the sunrise to the shore and win. As it turned out, there wasn’t much of a sunrise, but it was nice to know I can start spending more time on the bay shore without getting eaten alive.
