I’ve been thinking of reviving my photoblog for a while now, but I’m overwhelmed by the idea of sorting through all the photos I’ve taken over the past few years. So I decided to just start from scratch this week, and leave the rest of them undisturbed in the archives. It only made sense to go to one of my favorite places in the whole wide world for the waking.
Taken through the windshield somewhere in the mountains of Virginia. Sun setting on a long day of driving, and leading into a long night of the same.

I really should have left a half an hour earlier, but I’m still trying to get back in the habit of posting every day and I procrastinated. I got to the beach about 5 minutes after sunset.
