Bennetts Pier, Delaware
I’ve never seen this out there before, but it was just offshore, almost directly at the end of the road. I could hear a boat out there in the mist somewhere, and I could see its wake coming ashore, but I couldn’t see it in the fog.

I meant to go straight home this morning, really, I did. I didn’t get enough sleep yesterday because I went to the beach, so I figured I’d make up for it. Then I saw the sky…
I ended up spending the better part of 2 1/2 hours or so wandering around Prime Hook, starting with these shots from the Dike Trail.
Oh, and that tattered fella in the second photo? He kept me country for the whole 2 1/2 hours, rarely out of sight when I wasn’t under tree cover. I do believe he may have been following me!
